Kashan is a refined carpet from the workshop period of the early 1900′s. This particular antique rug is clearly produced by a master weaver, outside the mainstream of commercial production in Persian rugs.
A small central medallion is surrounded by scrolling vines and stylized floral elements in a pleasing visual symmetry. Crafted of the best quality hand-spun wool, finely woven to 256 knots per square inch.
The rug’s condition is excellent with full pile throughout. Favored by designers, this Kashan coexists nicely with a variety of furnishings.
