Perpedil

Description

The design of this finely woven Perpedil rug, from the Kuba are near the Caspian Sea, has ram’s horns and stylized animal figures with an elaborate border system that includes eight-pointed stars and a trefoil outer border.  The condition is impeccable, with original edges and end finishes as well as good pile throughout.
