High in the Zagros Mountains west of Shiraz, Qashgai weavers hand-crafted this jewel.  A rich artifact of nomadic culture, the artful weaving technique of the Qashgai was passed down from mother to daughter according to tradition.

Intricate design elements include a multitude of stylized floral and animal elements. The condition of this rug is near perfect, with full pile throughout and original ends and edge-wrapping.
